Tropical Wood Table Top Coastal Dining Room

Salt air, pale walls, linen napkins and a thick slab of honestly finished wood at the center. The Tropical Wood Table Top Coastal Dining Room has the relaxed look a seaside room wants, without any flimsiness. Its tonal shifts and open grain hold up beautifully in all-day light.

The Edge and the Grain

A naturally inspired edge breaks from the straight line of a standard top, with soft curves and irregular contours. Selected natural wood blocks are joined to form the surface, and their changes in grain direction, tone and marking stay visible rather than being sanded into sameness.

Finishing the Table

Pair it with a driftwood-toned base or a simple painted frame for the dining room. The same top could just as easily become a kitchen table, a desk, a console or a coffee table. Beyond coastal homes, it suits organic modern, rustic, mid century and Japandi interiors.

Each tabletop is made to order from natural material, so grain, tone, pattern and edge contour will vary a little from the listing images, and yours will be singular.
