Handcrafted Botanical Sideboard Cabinet Dining Room

The Handcrafted Botanical Sideboard Cabinet Dining Room works best along a dining room wall, where it holds dinnerware, linens and serving pieces behind four doors and offers a broad top for a lamp, a centerpiece or a buffet spread. Leaf forms are carved into its fronts with restraint, deep enough to catch shadow but never fussy.

Knowing When to Stop

Botanical relief is easy to overwork. Here the leaves are kept shallow and calm, and each front is sanded through several grades after carving for a smooth, even surface.

Build and Details

Rounded corners, wooden knobs and a low base give the cabinet a midcentury feel. Selected natural wood blocks are joined and shaped by skilled craftspeople, leaving grain, texture and organic markings on view. Beyond the dining room, it suits a living room, entry or wide hallway.

• Shallow botanical carving on every front
• Four enclosed compartments for dinnerware and linens
• Multi-grade sanding after carving
• Wide top for serving or display
• May ship in components, with assembly required

Size and configuration may be adjustable since each cabinet is built individually. Decor shown in the photos is not included.

Handcrafted to order from natural wood, each sideboard shows its own grain, texture, pattern and tone, so the one you receive will be entirely unique.
